The IT systems and software required for this website to function will, during their usual course of operation, gather personal data. The transmission of those data is required for the use of internet communication protocols. Those data are not collected to be associated with identified data subjects but, by their very nature and through the processing and association of them with data obtained by third parties, they may allow users to be identified. The data that fall into this category include: IP addresses or the domain names of computers used by users who connect to the website; URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses for the resources requested; the time of requests; the means used to send requests to the server; the size of the file obtained in response; the numerical code indicating the server response (successful, error etc); and other parameters relating to the users’ operating system and IT systems. Web server log data may be used where required by law, to trace those responsible for harm to the site in the event of hypothetical cyber crime. The site’s host systems are protected by a firewall system and are backed up to guarantee proper storage and access. Google Analytics Tracking codes are installed on the site. The data are recorded by the Google Analytics service and are stored on Google’s server for a standard period of 26 months.

We adopt specific security measures to prevent loss or illicit or incorrect usage of data and unauthorised access to them. Data subjects to whom the data belong may at any time request confirmation that they are or are not held and to know their content and from where they were gathered, to check their accuracy or ask to add to or update them, so-called “rectification” (art. 18 of the GDPR). Pursuant to that same article, at any time users have the right to ask for their data to be erased or anonymised or to prevent them being processed in the event of a breach of the law, as well as to object, for legitimate reasons, to their being processed.
